The grant is available for the purchase and installation of home charging infrastructure:
- up to €1,500 for applications submitted by an individual;
- up to €8,000 for installations in the shared areas of a condominium.
The actual amount depends on eligible costs, the device’s requirements and the availability of funds. It is therefore not automatic: every application must meet the conditions set out in the call for applications.
Who can apply?
Individuals resident in Italy and condominiums can apply, for installations intended for use by condominium residents. The wallbox must be new, professionally installed and compliant with the grant’s requirements.
Where eligible, covered expenses include the wallbox and its installation, necessary electrical work and certain technical activities associated with the installation. Payments must be traceable.
When can you apply?
For installations carried out between 26 June and 31 December 2026, applications can be submitted through Invitalia from 22 September 2026 until 12:00 noon on 31 January 2027. The procedure requires access using SPID, CIE or CNS and an active certified email (PEC) address. Applications are assessed in the order they are submitted, subject to the available funds.
